The Northeast Assamese Community Center (www.neassam.org) is a community organization focused on celebrating the three main cultural events that personify Assam and its rich heritage: the Magh or Bhogali Bihu, the Bohag or Rongali Bihu, and the SriSri Sankadeva Tithi.
There is NO other purpose or mission for this community organization, and all the resources, including this website and its mailing lists, are used ONLY for the purpose of celebrating those three events as a community.
Anyone originally from Assam or the NE India and who resides in the Northeast United States is cordially invited to attend these events to celebrate our rich cultural heritage. Please click on the "Community Events" page for more details.
